4 FANTASTIC ORIGINAL 1931 ( THESE ARE NOT COPIES OR REPRODUCTIONS OF ANY TYPE-THEY ARE 100% ORIGINAL PERIOD DEVELOPED PHOTOGRAPHS ) NEWS PHOTOGRAPHS (3 INTERNATIONAL NEWSREEL AND 1 ACME NEWSPICTURES) DETAILING THE ORIENT SURVEY FLIGHT OF CHARLES AND ANNE MORROW LINDBERGH IN 1931. THE LINDBERGH'S FLEW A LOCKHEED SIRIUS FLOATPLANE IN A GREAT CIRCLE ROUTE TO CHART THE QUICKEST ROUTE FROM NEW YORK TO TOKYO. THEY THEN FLEW ON TO NANKING CHINA W THEY FLEW SURVEY FLIGHTS TO DETERMINE THE EXTENT OF DAMAGE FROM THE FLOODED YANGTZE RIVER. THE FLIGHT ENDED AT HANKOW CHINA WHEN THE LOCKHEED WAS DAMAGED WHILE BEING HOISTED ABOARD THE BRITISH AIRCRAFT CARRIER HMS HERMES .
