By direct from the miner and save!!Jack Wade Creek is a tributary to Walker Fork of the Forty Mile River watershed. The first claims onJack Wade Creek where filed in 1892, the creek has been actively mined ever since. A bucket dredge was used to mine the creek beginning in 1936 and ending in 1941, along with all mining operations not essential to the war effort. New advances in gold recovery technology allow modern miners to recover the gold everyone else has left behind. The gold from this area of the creek runs between 20 and 22 karat. This is as clean as I can get this fine gold, there will be a little more than 1/4 troy oz to make up for the stuff I can't get out.The ruler is in standard inch scale in 1/32 increments.
