4 NORITAKE SQ. PLATES !! NOTE: Three of the plates have small nicks or chips, but still look wonderful !! Gorgeous set of four square Noritake plates with elegant and rich ornate detail along scalloped edges. Nice gold trimmed edge. Scrollwork has shades od dark umber, citron yellow, mint green, white florals, and light sandy brown.T are also small patterns in light golden yellow in a scrollwork design. On all sides of the plates, in the center area, are little pink rose bouquets, with green branches cascading outward. At the corner of each plate, t are large floral and scrollwork patterns. The yellowish scrollwork patterns look like urns. Very elegant. The plates body are mainly in a soft creamy color. A couple of these plates have very faint wear and t,very minor, just thought I'd mention it. Closer to the center, each plate has a light green ring pattern. In the center of each of these ring patterns are gorgeous, richly detailed fish transferware scenes. Each plate has a different fish scene, and a different fish. The fish are surrounded with sea life plants and seabed colors. The background is highlighted in soft muted colors. These beautiful Noritake square plates are absolutely gorgeous. Three of these plates have very small chips or nicks. They are all on the lower part of each plate. What I'd recommend is using a paint called bright gold. It's made for china painting or plastics, and it's perminent. You can get it at any craft shop, like Michael's, or other craft stores. Once they're touched up, you won't even notice w the nicks were. Other than these small imperfections, these are truely stunning plates. The fact that they're square makes them very unusual and striking. Perfect for serving seafood dinner or snacks, like lobster rolls or crab cakes. Your guests will be impressed. No other chips, cracks, repairs, or hairlines.
