4/4 Stentor Andreas Zeller violin with case, rosin and chest rest This is my beloved Andreas Zeller violin that I have loved and played for 10 years. Internet fiddles bought new at cheaper prices like the link above are usually straight out the factory so aren't set up, that is the strings are very high off the fret board, making them hard to play and harder to get the right notes as the strings bend too much. They are cheap for a reason. In this case it gives set up and non set up price. Buying from a shop, (or me) will usually mean the shop keeper has spent an hour working on them before he is satisfied they are good enough to go on the shelf. A shop setup will cost you about £25. Not many fiddles I have bought on ebay have been set up, probably as the people got board because they couldn't play them, so sell them on ebay. Just thought I would add that! Anyway.......
