4 Texaco Company Motor Oil Jars w/ Old Labels & Lids

This is a vintage The Texas Company U. S. A. (Texaco) carrier with 4 quart sized oil jars with old original labels and two with original The Texas Company U. S. A. lids. One jar has the oil dispenser as its lid. The jars are almost 7 inches in height and are square jars with a base about 3 1/4 inches square. The labels on all four jars are in great shape as are the lids on two of the jars. The carrier is also in great condition, no rust or damage to the chrome or stainless metal. The jars themselves are matching jars, each with a label and each with checkered sides to, I assume, help hold the jar when dispensing the oil to the motor of the car. These jars are quite unusual and date back to when Texaco was known as the Texas Oil Company. Please look at my photos to get the full impact of these oil jars and their labels and lids. I accept Paypal as well as personal checks and money orders. International bidders will have to Mailing expense will have to await the determination of the location of the high bidder. I do not charge for any handling, only what the Post Office indicates is the correct mailing expense. I will insist on insurance since I cannot be responsible for the actions of Postal authorities. I have placed a reasonable reserve on this item to protect my investment but feel the jars are so unique that the reserve should not prove to be an impediment to any bidding.
