Howdy from Texas~! This auction is offering the most amazing set of primitive antique slat back or ladder back chairs! The seats are covered with cow hide and are just awesome. I was told that the chairs are around 100 years old and were made in Texas. The seats have been nicely redone with cowhide leather. T is slight wear to the cowhide from use. Take a look at the pictures to see the fine workmanship! The wood seems to be nice and sturdy, nicely aged with time. The wood looks like hard rock maple, but I am not sure. The chairs are put together with square nails. The chairs measure 43 inches tall, and seat height is 18 inches. These chairs would look great in a hunting lodge, log cabin, or a home decorated in western decor! If you raise cattle or love the cowboy theme, these chairs would be great conversation pieces. I prefer paypal payments for this listing, but accept checks and money orders. You can choose to pick these chairs up, or I can have them shipped to you. I live 45 minutes south of Houston, Texas in Angleton. Shipping rates and insurance costs will depend on your location.
