Over the next several months, I will be selling vast collections of wonderful vintage antiques which I have lovingly accumulated of over the past 50 years, as I am now downsizing. Vintage kitchen items, vintage Christmas ornaments, salt and pepper shakers and much, much more will be listed on Ebay.

This auction is for one of one of my favorite set of pieces to my vintage Oriental collection, which I am currently listing on Ebay. Specifically, it is a set of four wall plaques made of hand painted tiles depicting the four seasons in front of Japan's Mt. Fuji and each is signed by the artist. Each of the seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter is composed of three beautifully colored hand painted tiles framed by a black lacquered wood frame (and each retains its original "Made in Japan" sticker on its wood mounted back). They each have beatifully ornate gold hooks to hang too. Each measures approximately 18.75" high by 3.75" across, at its widest points. They are truly lovely and very reminiscent of the more innocent days of the 1950s. Other than a few areas of the frames that I have touched up with black paint, 50 years ago, they are truly lovely. Craftsmanship that is hard to find today.
