Up for auction are these 4-vintage hanging scales. They are from smallest to biggest: 1).CHICAGO SPRING BALANCE CO. PAT.APPL'D FOR- Measures 3 5/8" it is in working shape and looks silver over brass. 20lbs. 2). NOT LEGAL FOR USE IN TRADE POCKET BALANCE MADE IN GERMANY- 4 7/16" -has some tarnish/rust and is tin and steel. 25lbs. 3). HANSON MODEL NO. 895 MADE IN CHICAGO, U.S.A. CAPACITY 50 LBS. BY 1 LB. PATENTS PENDING ADJ. SCREW BELOW- 6 3/4" -steel in construction. 4). CHATILLON'S IMPROVED CIRCULAR SPRING BALANCE TO WEIGH 60 LB BY 2 OUNCES EACH 20 LB. IS MARKED ON THE OTHER SLIDE THE INTERMEDIATE WEIGHTS ON THE CIRCLE WARRANTED NEW YORK. It has test marks of 023, 025, 027, 028 and 031. 12 3/8" in length with brass face plate and steel back. When I measured I did not include the hangers or rings. They all work but I'm not sure how accurate. They all have some tarnish and or rusting. They are in good to very good shape. thank you for your interest.
