4 charming vintage Swedish artist postcards of ladies in folk costumes of Sweden. The artist is Emile von Walterstorff. These cards were published by Granbergs in Sweden are labelled Nordiska Museet on the back side. From the names and spellings of the parishes you know they are old: #6612 Osteraker, Sodermanland; #6613 Warend (Varend) Smaland; #6597 Floda socken Dalarna; and #6604Alfta socken Helsingland (Halsingland). Postcards are in good unused condition although they are slightly darkened from age and have some corner and edge wear. Each postcard measures approximately 5-1/2" by 3-1/2".
