4 Vintage TRADER VIC'S Ceramic Hula Girl Glasses 1963 Hello and Thanks for dropping in! The auction you are viewing is for : Great lot of four TRADER VIC'S ceramic drinking glasses! Wonderfully colorful pieces, featuring a hula girl, a reclining fellow, and a musician. Also, fruit, leaves, and a dramatic sun. They are identical in design and were molded with the features in high relief and appear hand painted beneath a high gloss glaze. The molding isn't exact and the height varies from 8-1/4" to 8-1/2". Each bottom is marked in mold, C 1963 TRADER VIC'S and two have their original maker's label which reads, Imperial Imports, Japan. Condition: All have uniform fine crazing, some tiny glaze pops, normal bottom wear, and varying degrees of paint coverage as happens with hand painting. One has a little manufacturing dimple under the bottom rim, and one is really a bonus piece as it has a 3/4" V shaped hairline crack on the top rim that goes clear through. It's intact, but would have to be handled carefully and for display only. It isn't noticeable, but it's t All four are bright and clean, appearing unused. Each one weighs a little over 1 pound.
