GLASSES From a High Class Metropolitan home, we have been asked to auction these absolutely gorgeous Waterford Lismore glasses. These Waterford Lismore glasses are crafted out of full lead crystal. The glasses have deep, striking diamond and wedge cuts. The round bottoms are unique, graceful and easy to hold. Lismore Castle in Ireland provided the inspiration for this pattern many years ago. The company of Waterford was first established in 1783. Its founders were two brothers, William and George Penrose whose vision was to "create the finest quality crystal for drinking vessels and objects of beauty for the home." Now, over 200 years later, Waterford is still creating glass of unsurpassed beauty and quality. Deeply cut ornamentation enhances these Waterford glasses with a vivacious sparkle and a silvery white brilliance. Condition : Mint, no chips, no scratches.
