you are bidding on a MK 4 training round for a 40 MM AA gun. shell is brass and bullet is steel. head stamp pic is a little hard to read but says I. A. D. / MCA Dummy /cartridge MK-4 that is stamped on the outer edge of the base of the shell on the inner part of the base it is stamped 40mm MK 2. t is a possible date stamped of 12-44 but I cant be certain if this is a date or a lot number. The round is inert and cannot be made to work as it is and always has been a training round. The round is 17.5 inches and weighs about 5 lbs. good luck bidding.
