Up for auction is a 40 piece set of Corning Ware Corelle Dishes/Dinnerware. The pattern is actually called ENGLISH MEADOW. It has a white background with graceful delicate flowers in red, light and dark purple, yellow, and orange. They are handsomely framed with an edge in light blue creating a look that is both elegant and enduring. It is accented by a dramatically sculpted rim and a swirl design which runs diagonally from the edge inward for 1.5 inches. The same flowers and larger green leaves outline the center of the plate. T are no chips or cracks. They are being sold as used, but they do not look like they were ever used. You would have to look very very closely to see any utensil marks if they exist at all. All of them are very very shiny. The picture does not do justice to them. I could not capture the swirl in the pictures. Both the dinner plate and the dessert plate plus the cup all have the floral pattern. The saucers and the bowls have a blue edge, but they also have the swirl pattern. On the back is a dark Corelle stamp: Corelle by Corning - Microwavable - not for broiler or stovetop - made in USA.
