40 VINTAGE WEATHERVANE SIGNATURE DATED 30S QUILT BLOCKS

These quilt blocks are about 9 1/2 x 10", hand stitched with colorful and vibrant cotton prints from the 30s, most have a date on them, various dates from 1936, 1937, and 1938, are a mystery to the previous owner who found them in the cedar chest of their grandmother who died, and had never taken them out to show before her death. They are in nice bright clean condition, lovely hand stitching and corner matching, names and dated are listed below on each block later, several are men, t are lot with the family name Yocom. Would make a neat item to link to your own family, or just enjoy the mystery of these fabulous period blocks, would make a gorgeous finished quilt!

I did notice many of the dates are exactly 1 week apart, or in otherwords, occur on the same day of the week.
