Being offered for sale is an approximately 40 year old Dunhill billard, with a very deep sand blast. The shape no. is 104 with a number 4 bowl size grouping. The stampings are rather weak and one must use a magnifying glass to see them. The stem, which may be a replacement, is free of any teeth marks. The shank has a very small hairline crack and has been banded with a sterling silver band. The pipe is very light in weight and nicely balanced. I don't believe that the pipe weighs more that 1 3/4 ozs. if that. The dimensions of the pipe are as follows: Length = 5 1/2", Bowl Height = 1 3/4", Diameter of Bowl = 1 1/8', The Diameter of Tobacco Chamber = 3/4" and the Depth of The Chamber = Approx. 1 1/2". The tobacco chamber is in round. The pipe has been cleaned and sterilized. It will come to you ready to be enjoyed. Although no longer a collectable, one must remember that it is still a fine Dunhill pipe with many years of good smoking still available. We have taken a series of ten pictures thaat we hope will help to show the excellent condition and the fine shell blast finish that this pipe has.
