This high quality art sculpture was purchased in 2004 at an art show in Scottsdale, Arizona. Not only is Scottsdale famous for the huge Arabian Horse show, but it also has some fine art shows, and the finest equine artists sell at them. It is signed on the filly's croup Debbie Fields, 1 / 2002, & 3/94. That means this is # 3 of an edition of only 94. It has a gorgeous bluish gray patina, mottled becuase this dark filly is turning gray, like many Arabians that are born dark, and soon start greying. It is 7" long and about 3" high. She can roll or lay, in two positions. Directly on her back, or lying on her off side. Fabulous detail, fine Arabian head with large eyes, exquisite ears, little teats showing, definitely a filly! Solid bronze, almost 2 pounds weight. My friend, who I am selling it for described it as baked bronze. I have no idea what that means. I think that means it is finer quality than the cheaper cold cast bronze method. We are starting low and t is no reserve This must be insured to actual final sale price value, so the insurance could go up from what is listed, but not likely more than a couple dollars. I do not see any flaws, scratches, or repairs on this figurine, It appears to be in excellent condition. She will be double boxed and carefully packed. I am selling a large horse collection for a friend. Please see read more
