On offer today is this very fine and pretty French Bru Jne R , one of the more unusual models , the head has been poured in a pure white slip,and a soft colour wash applied, and fired many times to achieve the right look of fine painted eyelashes and multi stroke eyebrows, delicate eye shadow, eye and nose dots, pierced ears with earrings as shown, Pretty blue threaded paperweight glass eyes, Hand made light blonde mohair wig left in its n atural waves. On a papier mache b ody with porcelain arms. I have used dupion 100% pure silk in a pretty shade of pink and ivory colour to make this sweet outfit. She will come to you fully dressed with socks, leather shoes, knickers, and half slip petticoat Pleated skirt, fancy plastrom trimmed with fine English leavers lace, rosettes and satin ribbon roses trims . Hi gh brimmed l ace trimmed bonnet. All fully lined. A lovely example and a sweet face. Looks far better in real life . Please see my feedback, as I do wrap the dolls very well for posting either in the UK or for abroad I am now retired (started making the antique reproduction in 1981) but still love making and dressing the dolls now as a hobby.
