3 " tall, by 7 1/2 " wide (diagonally), Ercole Barovier , Venetian, Italian Bowl. Circa 1940's. Outer bowl: clear glass layer, over layer of gold foil, over layer of controlled large bubbles (see picture # 6). Note the deep ribs of the bottom of the bowl resembling the divisions of a mellon. Inner bowl: clear glass layer, over layer of gold aventurine (see picture # 7). Weight of the bowl is 2.5 # 's. No chips, breaks, or repairs, i.e., no after factory damage.
