~Own an Original Vintage Pattern to make Four Animal Pull Toys~ An ORIGINAL 1946 vintage pattern, McCall 1296, to construct and make Four Pull Toys, Ellie the 10" high elephant, Pinky, the 8" high pig, Quackie, the 12-1/2" high duck, and Scotty, the 11" high dog. The envelope back says, "For each toy, use several layers of cardboard pasted todgether to form the wheels, 2 dowel sticks, each 1/4 inch in diameter, and 3-1/2 inches long for axels, and 4 spools for hubs." This pattern is complete and 3 are uncut. Quackie is cut, with Quackie's hand-traced eyelid included (pattern piece was missing) from the illustration of it on the duck body's pattern piece. There are excellent well-illustrated instructions included. The transfer piece (1 called for) for the pig is present, UNUSED and UNCUT. The envelope is complete and in very nice condition, with clear graphics and printed info. Check out the envelope back for more construction details, such as suggestions for your fabric choices.
