This is a terrific collection of vintage dinnerware by Metlox. Nearly a complete service for 8 of the Poppy Trail, RED ROOSTER pattern. Included in this sale are eight 10" dinner plates numbered 1173 on the bottom, eight 7 1/4" diameter and 2 1/4" deep bowls numbered 174 on the bottom, eight 6" saucers numbered 273 on the bottom, eight 4" diameter burnt orange coffee cups, five 7 1/2" salad or dessert plates numbered 1274 on the bottom, one 13 1/2" x 10" platter, sugar with cover, creamer, and divided serving dish in burnt orange. All are marked on the bottom with the Metlox design except the burnt orange pieces. Beautful rooster embossed on the center of the dishes. Design is actually raised. All are in near mint condition with no chips, cracks or discolorations anyw Colors are still quite vibrant on all. Looks as though they were never or rarely used. NO RESERVE!
