OK Diecastsale What have you done for us recently? These are Ex-magazine cars, Produced for Hachette of Milan Italy, Or DeAgostini. There were originally sold in Italy with a collectors magazine (in Italian). When stocks did not sell the car was removed from the package and sold separately. Each line was a one off run, meaning they were on the news stands for a set period of time. When I was in Italy the last run was the Ferrari collection of which I saw a very few for sale retail. Previous collections included specific Lancia, Afa Romeo, Fiat, Autobianchi and other non specific brands. The same type of collectors magazine has also appeared in France and Spain. Most of the packaging for these cars has been damaged in some way (although the Ferrari collection seemed to have faired better) as the bubble packs have been glued to the magazines. And sorry I do not have any with the magazines still attached. The cars are in mint shape. (some have been removed from the packaging for the pictures and then replaced) 1957 was the last year for the Mille Miglia after a fatal crash that killed 10 spectators. It was essentially a no holds barred flat out road race with no crowd protection and the best (and worst) drivers in the world.
