43âe(tm) Judy Garland Harvey Girls Menu Santa Fe Car Service Up for auction is an Original 1943 Santa Fe Car Service Harvey Girls Menu with a picture of Judy Garland on the front from the movie The Harvey Girls. This is the actual menu used by the Santa Fe Line in their dining car when train dining was elegant and the menu was extensive. It measures 6 in. X 9 in. when closed and 12 in. X 9 in. when opened. Although the ceiling price dates on the menu are from 1943, The Harvey Girls was released in 1946. In the movie a group of waitresses employed by restaurateur Fred Harvey contend with the Wild West. The film was one of the top moneymakers of the year. I have seen just the cover of this menu as a postcard or 5x7 cards but have never seen the full menu. This is a Very Rare Item! This Menu comes from my personal Judy Garland collection. I have been collecting Judy Garland memoribilia since 1959. It has been stored in a smoke free home. I have been an eBay seller since 2001 and have been in the antique and collectibles business for over 30 years.
