44 Golden Replicas of United States Stamps in Original Binder

Offered is an original binder with 44 Golden Replicas of United States Stamps. These were issued by the Postal Commemorative Society and are proof replicas on a gleaming surface of 22kt gold. Each golden replica is mounted on a First Day of Issue envelope with the real version of the stamp and the postal indicia that identifies the date it was issued as well as the town it was issued in. There is also a 4.5"x7" card that accompanies each golden replica with information about the subject on the stamp, the date and city of first day issue, and the name of the stamp designer. The front of the binder has the name of the original owner and each envelope has the name and address of same. All 41 of these are in as-issued condition, having always been stored in the binder, except for Space Achievement, which must have fallen from the binder at one time and has some soiling.
