44 Pattern British Army Webbing Large Haversack Modified 1966 issue version. The first version made in 44 was generally much smaller with Quick release side pocket fasteners. Later in the 1944-45 years the pack was fitted with twist fasteners to the side pockets. In 1966 the pack was made much larger with additional load attachment straps sewn on for jungle use during the Borneo (indonesian) Confrontation, 1962-1966. The version listed here is the 1966 version in mint unused condition. All straps are present as well as the loose fitted additional straps. Also all metal fittings are present and as new. All internal waterproof lining is present, intaxct and unsplit. Made by C.C.L dated 1966. Included are a matching pair of shoulder straps known as L straps left and right.
