45 ” AIRTRONICS NEW ERA III R/C MODEL AIRPLANE KIT This is a very hard to find radio control New Era III designed by Don Dewey, manufactured by Airtronics Inc. back in the 1970’s. The design is a great combination of classic pattern ship outlines and fantastic sport flying capabilities. It really looks like a smaller Kwik Fli 3. This is airplane is right at home flying sport, or flying like a pattern ship. This is one of the best flying sport pattern airplanes ever kitted. The New Era III has a wingspan of 44.6", wing area of 400 sq. in., and comes in at a very light 48 - 54 ounces. A great candidate for electric conversion with a 3S lipo and a 500 watt motor. The kit box is in very good condition with a minor shelf wear. The kit contents including the balsa, plywood, hardware, canopy, and full sized plans are all here, sealed in bags and in excellent condition, everything just like it left the factory.
