it is, if you think you have seen it all then take a look at what I just brought back from overseas. This could be the largest amount of blue sapphires and diamonds ever offered on E-bay without a reserve and starting at just 1 dollar. It is really a beauty to behold, this the kind of jewelry that the rich and famous are wearing and they are buying some of it from me. Many winners have turned out to be Beverly Hills jewelers and celeb assistants who have been jumping on the big ethnic type pieces especially like this one made from all genuine diamonds. This is from an old collectors estate and has been in a vault for most of its life so it is in good condition for its age, I know for a fact that it was part of a families nest egg that immigrated from India to London. Back then during turbulent periods of unstable governments many converted the local currency into very liquid diamonds which could be cashed in just about anyw You dont have to be a millionaire to own this one just a legitimate bidder on E-bay with a good record so please make sure that you have more than 5 positive feedbacks and understand the rules. For all of you serious buyers rest assured that I do not tolerate any low feedback or questionable bidders which keeps the prices w they should be even if it means a lower final price. This piece is the real deal I do not have another like it, so be sure to put your best bid in. This necklace comes with a very nice high quality box in which I will include for safekeeping. This beautiful piece has so many details so I will get on with it for the sake of time. The piece features a large flower shaped lavalier made from 41 large lop cut rose diamonds and 424 accent diamonds for a jaw dropping show of genuine stones. This piece features a giant lavalier strung on huge blue sapphire beads which is a knockout due to the chunky lavalier and sapphires together. These are genuine diamonds and the lop cut stones are basically a rose cut with the pointed table "lopped" off so they are flat on top. Some of the large diamonds are oval shaped while others are round, they are set into a pear shaped design into rows that go all the way around the piece. The larger diamonds average .15 carats in size and the center diamond is a solid 1 carat diamond by itself. This is a beautiful "bursting" pear shape which is a traditional East Asian symbol. In Asia it is important to have more wealth than the next person which is why many of these pieces exist. This one also has a large moveable bale that is set with diamonds and a 2 tone look that is ultra rich. The piece is made of 14k yellow gold underneath and silver on top so the piece has a two tone look and will have a nice patina over time. This is what real antique "bling bling" looks like. The necklace is 18 inches long and has a push clasp with a fancy design. The blue sapphires are a dark navy blue color and not transparent, they are brightly polished and the largest one measures 12x14 mm so you can get an idea of how large these are. The smaller diamonds are light conac colored to white (mostly white) and have an antique old cut to them. The larger foil backed diamonds are on the white side with some inclusions in some of them that you can see with the eye. The larger diamond in the center does have some inclusions and carbon however this is an old piece and rustic diamonds normally have these traits in them. I had my gemologist do a careful inspection so I can guarantee you the exact weight of all the diamonds. His conclusion regarding the larger "lop" cut stones were "41 antique diamonds as a lot were calculated at 6.15 carats". The smaller diamonds that fill the piece are antique cut and t are 424 of them with a weight of 8.48 carats. The necklace contains a remarkable 14.63 carats in diamonds alone. We have taken the time to carefully measure each stone to come to an accutate weight so t is no guessing so you may bid with vigor and confidence.
