This is a late model U.S. Navy officer's navy blue uniform marked with the insignia of a lieutenant in the Medical Corps. The coat is labled "Authentic US Navy Originals" and it is tagged "48R Athletic." Content is 55% poly and 45% wool and it is labeled to be in compliance with US Navy specs. Coat is fully lined and has four inside pockets, one of which zips. Trousers are marked: "Uniforms by Flying Cross" and the waistband is marked "Freedom Fit by Fechheimer." Trousers are also 55/45 poly/wool and are marked a size "42R." Shirt is white, long-sleeved with epaulets, and is also by "Authentic US Navy Originals." Included are the soft, slide-on shoulder boards with the rank and service markings. Shirt size is 17-34/35 and it is a 60/40 cotton/poly blend. Necktie is labled "London 400" and also is tagged with the Navy certification number. Fabric belt has a brass tip, but no buckle. Condition is like new. I doubt this officer wore these blues more than a few times. Please check the detailed measurements below to insure proper fit. A good tip is to measure a well-fitting uniform or suit you already own and compare the dimensions. Note: t is a round spot on the photo of the jacket. That's a photo glitch and is not on the coat. Chest: From armpit to armpit measured flat: 25 1/2 inches or 51 inches all the way around. Sleeves: From shoulder seam to outside edge of cuff: 26 3/4 inches. Length: From base of collar to hem: 31 1/2 inches. Trouser Measurements Waist: 20 1/2 inches, or 41 inches all the way around. Inseam: 31 inches with 2 1/4 inches of hem Outseam: 43 inches.
