Up For Auction: is this beautiful Estate Sale find, "Lot of 48 Tumbled and Hand Polished Half Stones From All Over The World", these stones were tumbled and hand polished by the late Jewlery Artist Lorraine Albers, a member of the Lake County Jem Society for more than 40 years, more provenance to follow to the winning bidder. Most of the stones are marke with a tag stating the name and country of origin from which they came. T are: Lapis Lazuli (Chile), (American) Algae Agate, Turitella Agate, Dentritic Chert, Willow Creek Agate, Petrified Wood, Snow Flake Obsidian, Mahogany Obsidian, Silversheen Obsidian, (Brazil) Sodalite, Rose Quartz, Blue Quartz, Green Quartz, (Indian Stones) Green Aventurine, Blue Aventurine, Striped Jasper Bloodstone, Moss Agate,(Italy) Brown Goldstone, (South Africa), Banded Chalcedony, Golden Tigereye, Blue Tigereye, Red Jasper, (Norway) Ruby In Quartz, (Australia) Ribbonstone, Prase, Banded Jasper, and many more. All but 15 stones are marked with type and country of origin. All but 6 are half stones, the 6 are sliver cut about 1/8 inch thick. Most measure 1&3/4 inches long, 1&1/8 inches high, in an egg shape, the half stones are 1/2 inch thick. She used these stones for pendants and pins and they are all in "Mint Condition", with no cracks or chips in any stones. I will also include 2 gold tone pins, one read more
