Antique Blue Glazed French Porcelain & Bronze Ormolu Box with Hinged Lid & Flowers Inside . From a local estate. Thick White ground Porcelain with Blue Glaze on the outside.Covered with applied Ormolu, Bronze or other Gilt Metal in the shape of a Gift Ribbon.2 areas of similar Transfer Flower Decorations on the inside. FRANCE is marked on the bottom. Exact age unknown, likely late 19th to early 20th century or so. Approx. 6.5" long x 5.6" wide x 3.5" tall.Just under 2 pounds. Good condition with wear & a small amount of blue glaze loss on the back of the lid (see last picture). Please view my other items. There are many more wonderful Asian pieces.
