Five antque silver tablespoons from the mid-1800s / 19th Century. GREAT country farming stuff from an old Indiana farm. Four of the spoons are marked on the back as " WM. Rogers & Son 9 oz "., and one of the spoons is marked on the back " 1847 Rogers Bros. A1 " and some sort of stamp. Condition is used. Threre is some loss of silverplating or dings in the bowl of each of the spoons as well as on the back of the bowls and on the bottom of the handles from w the spoon rested on the table.They're all about 7" long. I bought these spoons in the 1970s in an auction at an old Indiana farm in Wayne County. I've just held onto them since then and have kept them polished. They have been a simple reminder of my Indiana farming heritage. These teaspoons will be carefully wrapped in sheet foam and then packed inside either a padded envelope/small box and then sent USPS PRIORITY FLAT RATE ENVELOPE. As we looked at the weight this seemed to be the best deal. The shipping and handling fee shown at $6.10 does include our handling fee of $1.50.
