2.5" Antique TYNIE TOY Miniature Print USS CONSTITUTION &1812 GUERRIERE HandTint
Description

A fitting image for a New England dollhouse, where the TYNIE TOY company was based, this 2" high by 2.5" wide miniature hand-tinted print shows one of the closing moments of the War of 1812 when the USS CONSTITUTION blasted and burned the French ship GUERRIER~ (confirmed identification through Wikipedia).

In excellent condition and all-original, the gold-painted wooden frame is hand-crafted, the print is from a magazine circa 1925 and watercolor paints were carefully hand-painted to bring out details; a loop-hanger is on the backing of brown paper - just like people-sized works of art, with perfect label "TYNIE Toy" plus tree, house & chair logo, and comes from original family, non-smoking environment.

Our layaway program for any FULL PRICE item is a third down and the balance due in 30 days for items over $500.00. We do not charge interest on our layaways so we do not do extensive layaways.
