Representing the 5 Senses of Taste, Smell, Sight, Touch and Hearing. Each Plate is approximately 9 1/4" across, Hand Antiqued and polished to bring out all the lustrous beauty of the Oriental Cinnabar and Fine Brass used in each of these magnificent creations. Pictures do not give these items justice as they are beautifully crafted, and are a must have for any who would like to display items inspired from the Ming Dynasty era. The Backstamp of the plates are made from the finest brass and has a hanging loop built in. For thousands of years the Chinese have marveled at the warm glow of burnished brass. Artisans have deeply polished the radiant metal and watched with delight as the patina grew deeper and richer with age.
