Selling is a set of 5 antique Georgian sterling silver luncheon forks. The forks measure 6 1/4" long and have a beaded and lined design along the edge of the handle. The forks weigh 5.9 ounces together. All the forks are not hallmarked the same although they have pattern on the front. Three forks are hallmarked with the lion passant - sterling, crowned leopard head - London, "l" date letter - 1786-87 and duty mark - Kings head. The makers mark is "R.C.".One fork has the date mark "u" 1815, one can't be read, and a markers mark that is "WE/WF for Wm. Eley & Wm. Fearn. The forks all have a coat of arms on the back that feature a crown a lion and 2 spears. One of the forks is monogrammed on the back with fancy intials. The forks are in very good condition with some minor wear.We are selling some other fine antique sterling silver at this time from the same estate.
