5 Hand-Carved Old World Santas--From Taylor Bears in NC

This group of 5 hand-carved Old World Santas are from the Great American Taylor Bear and Folk Art Corporation in Southern Pines, NC. They were carved by Lancy Smith of New York state from basswood and added to the Old World Santa Collection of the Taylor Bear Corp. in 1989. Included with this set are the original Certificates of Ownership and Authenticity which will be signed by the seller to transfer ownership to the buyer. Also included is a copy of the Summer, 1989 newsletter, "Taylor Bear Tracks", which gives the story of the Taylor Bear Family. The certificates and the newsletter are in mint condition. The Certificates of Ownership list the name of the Old World Santa, the artist's name, the buyer's name, the date, the item number, and the purchase price ($21 each). Included in this group are: Pierre Claus--item number 414S Rudy Claus dressed in red--item number 410S Noel Claus dressed in blue--item number 412S Nicholai Claus dressed in white--item number 413S Yule Claus --item number 411S Each Santa is signed and dated (1989) by the artist. All are in excellent condition and have been carefully packed away each year when not displayed during the Christmas season. They are from a smoke-free home.
