Mid Century Milo Baughman Style Chromcraft DINING TABLE & 5 CHAIRS We purchased this set in 1967 and it had been in use until 2005 when we stored away. Table is approx 6 ft oval shape with Formica top and pedestal base. The formica is starting to lift up but I believe it could be popped off and reglued. The table base matches the chair bases. Chairs are a bucket style with tufted back and seat area. Chairs are covered in the original black Naugahyde The seats swivel. They used to have an auto return to position. We just returned manually and worked just fine. Take notice to the base of the chairs. They are on a metal "V" shaped pedestal base. I remember the cost of each chair was $100 which was quite a bit of money back in '67. They proved to be worth the price. They are the most comfortable chairs to sit on! Have the feel of James Bond, Star Trek era. Generally the set needs a good cleaning and the metal bases should be polished. I believe they are made of heavy cast aluminum - very sturdy. Would be a great game or poker table in family or great room. Please note this auction is for 5 chairs (not 6) I took this picture before I gave one to my son.
