KO E-SHINO TSUTSUGATA MUKOZUKE (Complete set) - The RARE great masterpiece of authentic antique tea ceremony utensil, from Edo period - Authentic complete set of 5 Ko E-Shino ( Old Picture-Shino ware ), Tsutsugata ( Cylinder -shape ) Mukozuke ( Appetizer bowls ), from Edo period around mid-late 18th century. --- * Size : each about D 3.8 x H 2.8 in (9.5 x 7 cm) Shino pottery is very popular and well known as Japan's first high-fired white-glazed pottery with iron-oxide brush markings, and this kind of complete set of Ko E-Shino Mukozuke is the one of the rarest inheritances in Ko Shino history as you know. Also, t hese are the great example of the genuine traditional Ko E-Shino Tea ceremony utensil of the era even if you also understand by checking the pictures of many peculiar ' Suana ' ( Nest holes ), which tea master's favor and term ' Yuzuhada ', or citron skin, and characteristic ' Hakeme ' ( Brush pattern ) spiral design of the bottom.
