Henry Hite was born as Henry Mullins in Atlanta GA in 1915. He was a vaudeville star of Lowe, Hite, and Stanley. Later he became the Brigg's and Wilson's Food Corn King Giant and travelled the country making personal appearances at grocery stores such as Safeway. He appeared on the Johnny Carson show. He also appeared in the films Monster A Go-Go and New Faces of 1937. He passed away in 1972 and his wife donated his body to science (probably in Chicago w she passed away later). These five rare original snapshots show him in a Safeway store with employees and shoppers. He was always a big hit. He handed out cards with the claim that he was 8' 2" but he may have been closer to 7' 6.75". I aquired these photos in 1989 from his manager and friend. They are in excellent condition and measure apx. 3.5" x 3.5". Sold as is. NOTE: These snap shots and the color slides I am offering are the only original photos I have. I spoke with his sister-in-law some years ago and after Henry and his wife passed away the family did not save any memorabilia and neither did the company's he worked for. Consider these items very rare. Please see my other Henry Hite auctions.Shipping is $2.00 in U.S. and $4.00 foreign.
