**Authentic Ancient Roman/Greek Coins** **Lot Of 50 Coins** A mixture lot of 50 authentic Roman coins with around 3 or 4 Greeks as well. This is what I would call a "disaster" lot along with some very low grade and cull coins. As you can see in the picture, these have seen everything from standard cleaning to electrolysis. Some of the coins require further cleaning. Some are encrusted in areas, a few have chipped areas. Some are as best as they will ever be and that isnt saying much. There are some barbaric imitations included as well. (these are coins minted on the fringes of the Roman empire "illegally" by the neighboring barbarians and usually can be identified by their crude designs and casting. There is nothing exciting in this lot for most collectors but would be good for a new collector looking to practice cleaning on coins that won't be missed if damaged further or for teaching purposes. Most of the coins show little to no detail at all. I believe the 15 coins singled out in the photo away from the core pile show the most details you will find in this batch.
