Up for auction is this amazing very Rare Vintage Retro PAN AM flight bag. This particular design with the Pan Am Logo crossing over and outside of the boundaries of the globe would have been manufactured between 1957 and 1962 approx. It is one of the earliest bags ever made for PAN AM. This is truly a beautiful bag. I purchased it at a Vintage Clothing store about 15 years ago. I used it occasionally as a handbag but decided it seemed too important to use every day. I've had it packed away in a plastic tote for years. Details -This blue flight bag has a slightly triangular shape w/white piping along top and bottom of the bag. This is a very unique shape. I haven't seen many like this come up for auction. -The base of the bag has for Metal ball feet to keep it protected from the ground. Condition -It is in good condition for it's age. Approx 50 years old. It can use a cleaning. -Pan Am Globe logo has gentle fading. -Interior lining shows minor signs of wear but is completely intact. -Zipper w/Pan Am Logo works properly. Approximate Measurements Length - 15.5" Height - 11" Width - 5"
