Another VERY Rare & Hard To Find advertising premium from F&F Mold. An extra from my own collection. This bright red recipe file box holder was a promotional item offered on the back of Aunt Jemima Buttermilk Pancakes & Quaker Oats Corn Meal Mix circa 1950's. Showing a pancake box back for verification. Box is not for sale.
Made of early hard plastic ( lustex, celluloid , styrene, ? ). It's called the Quaker Treasure Chest Of 58 Money Saving Recipes. Has an intro card "signed" by Mary Alden. Backside of the card has directions for use. Every recipe card is numbered. Has a divider card for each of the 4 food groups ( Breakfast , Breads , Main Dishes, Desserts ) of recipes with a list on each card of recipes that belong in that section. Has a built in card holder tab in the front for ease of use. Also has a window in the back so you can read the recipe.
Plenty of room to add more cards too. Has an embossed daisy flower design along the front and top back. The back is higher & has a hole for hanging that turns it into a wall pocket / wallpocket.
