Anything Asian was THE rage in home decor in the 50s! And some of these pieces are wonderfully unique additions to YOUR vintage OR contemporary decor. This listing is for the tall table lamp with the black Moorish man on the base. He's beautifully painted in a red/orange costume with gold accents. The graceful dancer stands on a gray base in front of a gray Ming (?) tree. The lamp measures 17 3/8" from the tabletop to the top of the tree trunk behind the man, 20" to the top of the lightbulb socket. The shade (NOT included unless you specify) is secured with a wire frame that screws onto the bulb socket. When we found this lamp, it had this torn "plastic-wrapped" 8" tall shade (5 3/4" top inside diameter and 18" bottom outside diameter). We think it would be just awesome with a vintage tiered fiberglass shade OR you could remove the braided trim (top and bottom of this shade), take the red plastic wrap off the frame and replace it with strips of a black trash bag! The plaster base is in virtually new condition with no cracks or chips and no noticeable scratches. Everything works beautifully. A wonderful addition to your living room or boudoir! FOR MORE!
