This 1950's vintage halter dress is a stunning confection of pinky beige chiffon and lace. Do I dare say Marilyn? Full gathered chiffon skirt with a taffeta underskirt in a gorgeous shade of blush pink. There is piping at the waistline. Chiffon bodice has boning at sides for support and is also lined in taffeta. Underneath the bust area (between the chiffon and taffeta) is a layer of cream lace. Bustline has two gathered chiffon sections that attach behind the neck forming the halter top. The fabric is doubled here but not lined, so wearing a nude colored strapless bra is the way to go. Unless, of course, you are in the mood to send men into a frenzy! Halter attaches at back of neck with a fabric covered button and loop. There is a back metal zipper and hook and eye closure. Measurements- Bust 34/36(depends on how small your back is) Waist 26, Hips Free. Top of halter (at button loop) to waist 20".You have to be pretty short waisted or high chested to wear this halter the way it is, since you can't adjust it, unless you're willing to do some kind of alteration to it. So please make sure you measure 20" from the middle of the back of your neck down and see if it stops where the 26" waist measurement will be. Fabric from under bustline to waist 4 1/2" in middle of bodice, then running to 8 1/2" on sides. Waistline to hem 26". This read more
