You are bidding on a FANTASTIC true mid century 1950s or 1960s DANISH MODERN Made in DENMARK table of SOLID TEAK with a drop dead gorgeous intricate teak pattern top This came out of an important estate a few years ago that was laden with 50s Scandinavian and 50s Widdicomb furniture....we were convinced the it was Nakashima for Widdicomb .... then..... yikes .... we took it outside to take pictures, I have it upside down to wipe the bottom...and what do I find but the signature MADE IN DENMARK impressed right into the wood !! (it is clear as a bell but very tiny ....so we never noticed) It is of the most impressive Danish craftmanship...and we are unsure of the designer...it is so perfectly executed it seems like it may be custom made ... a limited piece It is in excellent vintage condition , with this to mention...on the top t is 1 teeny triangular indent (gouge), and t are 3 semi circle microthin dark rings from something being set on it like a water glass teak is very forgiving and you can surely find something to lift those out, but we didn't want to mess with it...so we are leaving that to the new owner It measures : 30 3/8" across top, 21 1/4" high, diameter of x base is 16" top is 3/4" thick (all teak) base is all teak in addition to the Made In Denmark t is some type of hand written marking on the bottom of base .....twice (shown) Thats all we know you just don't find pieces like this anymore folks!!! this auction is for the TABLE ONLY , the STOOLS are NOT FOR SALE sorry Buyer pays insured DHL shipping and 12 packaging supplies Thanks for Looking At this time WE SHIP TO THE U.S.A ONLY THE SMALL PRINT #1: After the auction: BUYER IS EXPECTED TO MAKE CONTACT WITHIN 3 DAYS OF AUCTIONS END...BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT WITHIN 9 DAYS OF AUCTIONS END; WE ASK THAT YOU THINK BEFORE PLACING A BID, AS YOUR BID IS A LEGAL BINDING CONTRACT AND WE WORK SO VERY HARD TO BRING YOU WONDERFUL THINGS!
