1950's vintage evening dress in a champagne color silk satin that drapes beautifully for an elegant, romantic look. Fitted bodice has scoop neckline front and back with spaghetti straps Waistline is accented with a wide ruched cumberbund style sash. There is a back metal zipper and hook and eye for closure. Skirt is gathered and very full. A charming matching satin bolero jacket accompanies the dress. It has a peter pan collar, a satin bow accent at neck, short sleeves, underarm gussets and nine satin covered buttons. Label reads "L'Aiglon". Measurements- Dress- Bust 40", Waist 28", Hips free, top of strap to waist 17", waist to hem 31". Bolero- Bust 42", length shoulder to hem 14". There are a few little scratches, very typical of this fabric, and a small spot at back of bolero jacket below collar. Also, a couple of very tiny spots on skirt, one pinhole and a tiny spot on one of the straps. None of this is very noticeable nor detracts from the beauty of this outfit. It is in very good to excellent vintage condition.
