Up for bids is the great 50's lamp...a Majestic Z lamp in great condition for its age. Very RARE chrome plate with black wooden base and boomerangs. I don't know if this was factory done, a special order perhaps, or if it was done at a later point...but I can tell that if it was, it was done long ago as the chrome plate has worn under w each light bulb would shine down....see small photo....brass under is peaking through. I believe this is chrome plated BRASS not chrome plated metal...a magnet will not stick to it. The black parts retain the original finish...some has chipped in a few areas, all age related wear....the lamp shades are a sturdy silver frame with fiberglass covering....the shades are off white with black brush stroke and a WHITE zig zag painted design. One shade has two small burns on top...smaller than a dime...and the other shade has some light spots on top. Each shade has some "bunching" to fiberglass...around the frame...see photo....All in all a beauty and nice lamp for the collector....this lamp stands 26 inches tall....Each shade is 14 inches diameter and just over 4 inches tall....Works fine, the switch in base allows one or both lamps on...but all vintage lighting should be checked by a professional before any long term use.
