Yesterday's Beauty & Glamour - 1950's & 1960's Studio Comp Books Loaded with B&W Photos of Aspiring Hollywood Actresses Please look at all of the photographs. This fascinating, historical and one-of-a-kind collection contains the black and white photographs and bios of about 50 Hollywood actresses from the mid 50's through the early 60's. Lots of familiar sounding names and many familiar looking and beautiful faces. I don't know if any of them went on to great fame or not, but their bios contain and list many recognizable old commercials, TV shows, plays and movies that these women appeared in. One binder has the label: "NEW FACES WOMEN 25-35 [age] A-G." The other is simply labeled "WOMEN (2)." These interesting old binders originally were used by the producers of (and the bio sheets are all marked) Dragnet Productions and/or Mark VII LTD.
These rare books are a little musty, and many of the photos are a tiny bit wavy, but overall they are in very good condition.

This scarce and very unusual set of two books is obviously worth far more than the very low opening bid, and is being sold with no reserve. Shipping via USPS Parcel Post in the USA can be determined by using the shipping calculator, which will add insurance at the end of the auction.
