From a local estate is this neat retro vintage ottoman in green geometric vinyl fabric. From the 1950s-1960s, this "stow-away" footstool with lift-up hinged cushion top sits in a black iron ornate stand ... very different and super funky! Measures 19" square at the top and tapers down to 18" square at the base, ottoman in base is 16" high, easily lifts out of the iron stand, also has a hand sewn gold slip-over cover. Both the ottoman and slip cover are in great condition, no damage, some very mild wear, just a few light stains inside of storage compartment, hassock and iron stand just needs a gentle cleaning, cover could use a wash and press. Original tag reads, "The Original Stow-Away Hassock by Barnett." Elastic straps on inside top cover for "tucking" whatever, large stow-away compartment has plenty of room for a large throw. Selling this great unique funky vintage ottoman in ornate iron base for a low opening bid with no reserve!

IMPORTANT SHIPPING INFORMATION!

I've had a number of inquiries as to shipping this ottoman. It's quite heavy, weighing around 18 lbs. unpacked; packed in a heavy-duty box with protective foam peanuts and measuring 26"L x 22"W x 20"H, it weighs about 30 lbs. I tried to figure a little smaller box and trying to subtract 10 lbs. by using a lighter weight box, shipping still was the same because of the ottoman size, as well as the weight (and zip code) which, together all determine the final mailing fees. I've decided to drop my $3 handling fee to try and make shipping a little more affordable.
