50s Vintage Scots LUX CASHMERE Cardigan Sweater L XL Description *50s Vintage Scot CASHMERE Cardigan Sweater L XL DETAILS: SUPER SOFT Luxury vintage 40’s-50’s cardigan sweater with fab cats’ eye buttons. Cool collar with a petal type appliqué. Sleeves with ribbed cuffs and flattering ribbed waistband. Gorgeous for Fall and Winter..Don’t miss out! MATERIAL: 100% pure cashmere Color: chambray blue Closure: Pearled cats eye button front Vintage: circa 1940’s-1950’s MEASUREMENT: Approx. size large-XL // waist size 30-39”, underarm to underarm 39-50”, length 23.5” The first measurements were taken with the sweater un-stretched. The second listed is approximately what I thing it would stretch to comfortably. NOTE: Measurements are taken as follows,Inseam: from inside crotch to hem,Length: from back of collar or top of shoulder strap to hem,Sleeve: from shoulder seam to hem,Chest/bust,waist and hips are all taken flat at capacity then doubled. Bust measurements are taken from underarm to underarm. Sweep is the bottom hem of a shirt or pant leg. Vintage sizes usually runs smaller than modern sizes. Makers of clothing new and vintage sizes can measure differently. If the measurement was taken from the under arm seams, this is not the measurement of the person wearing it. You must allow room for movement. IE a shirt that is labeled a 34 usually measures 36-42. Also depending on the garment certain items were meant to wear loose or tight. It's best to get a similar item that fits you well and measure it.
