50th. Anniversary World War II Commemorative Covers Collection. Mint stamps, encased in plastic mounts. Postal Commemorative Society This is a collection of 88 commemorative covers postmarked on the anniversary of a specific event relating to WW II. The covers have a mint stamp mounted onto a black background and inserted into the envelope with a die-cut in the cachet area. The covers are presented in a 3-ring album in 2-pocket mylar protective inserts, with a informational card relative to the historic event. This is a beautiful presentation: both the album and cacheted covers. The photo below shows the gold lettered dark blue vinyl album and a few examples of the covers and corresponding fact cards. All covers plus inserts are in clear protective pages to insure long-term protection. Mint stamp issues may not be from the country representing the historic event, but having a stamp subject of topical significance / scene The album and contents are in excellent, like new condition. The Album is approx. 11" X 11 3/4" X 4" thick . Shipping Weight with packing material 9 lbs. Thanks for looking!
