THIS AUCTION IS FOR A 53 1/2" Lakota Sioux Indian Rawhide Leather Cactus Handle Deer Bone War Spear. PLEASE SEE DETAILS BELOW:

The Lakota War Spear was carried in ceremonies to honor the bravery and success of its owner in hunting or for fighting tribal enemies. The wind catches its leather fringes driving the Native American Spear to its target. The Saguaro cactus handle is decorated with rawhide leather, feathers and beads. The deer bone blade is approx. 6" by approx. 1-1/4", total length of the Lance is approx. 53-1/2". A collectible and decorative piece of Native Americana. Due to the hand made nature of our artifacts, slight variations may occur from piece to piece.
